DeAnna Valentine serves as the inaugural Director of Economic Empowerment and Family Resilience for the City of Hampton, Virginia. Bringing nearly two decades of expertise in human services, DeAnna holds dual master's degrees from Liberty University—one in Business Administration and another in Human Services Counseling with a concentration in Executive Leadership. She is currently completing her doctorate at Regent University in Strategic Leadership with a concentration in Human Resource Development. DeAnna has guided multiple Departments of Social Services across Virginia, working  to enhance access to essential state and federal safety-net programs for individuals and families.
