About the Event
A Bible study of the Book of James. Led by Lorie Jones. Will meet in the Westminster Bible Class on the 3rd floor in room 308. All are welcome.
This study will be led by Rob Thornburg and Lorie Jones. We'll start with an overview of the entire letter and discuss why Martin Luther called it an "epistle of straw" and why it continues to be a controversial addition to the canon, the compiled scriptures as we have them now.
All welcome. No study book purchase necessary, we'll be learning directly from the Bible so bring yours along.
